I believe music is for everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability. My violin & viola studio is a space where all students are welcomed, celebrated, and encouraged to grow through the joy of playing. Whether you're a beginner picking up an instrument for the first time or a returning player looking to deepen your skills, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you thrive.
I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and bring over 10 years of experience teaching in public schools. That background shaped my commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning and gave me a deep understanding of how to reach a wide range of learners. In my private studio, I draw from a variety of pedagogical approaches - including Rolland, Suzuki, folk, and pop styles - to create lessons that are tailored, engaging, and relevant.
I value strong foundational technique, creative expression, and the development of confident, curious musicians. In our lessons, you'll find a balance of structure and exploration, where focus meets enjoyment and progress is always possible.
